problem with windows 10 (by still)
Hi, I have a new notebook asus T300 with windows 10. Ld micro work well but it have an important problem : when I try to change the pin assignement ldmicro crash and close the active window. Simulation and compile work very well and the same file on another notebook with windows 10 run without problem.
An idea? Thanks

problem with winodws 10 too (by Eduardo Previatti)
I am having the same problem, my laptop is a Dell Inspiron 14r 2013 model.
A friend of mine also uses the Windows 10 without this problem.
I start with compatibility solution, as an administrator, I disable the drives on startup precionando the button "delete" at startup and nothing.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like Win10 sends an LVN_GETDISPINFO that it didn't used to, with !(item.mask & LVIF_TEXT), item.cchTextMax == 0, and item.pszText == NULL. That makes us fail in IoListProc(). Totally my fault for not checking, though I'm not sure what Microsoft intended to gain by changing that.

Does the attached build work? I haven't tested thoroughly, but I borrowed a Win10 system and it seems to.

And I haven't received any feedback, but as far as I can tell this change solves the problem. I've therefore released a new version 2.3 of LDmicro, identical to the previous version 2.2 except for this change, available for download in the usual place.

Let me know if anyone sees any trouble.

Hi, I dont have win10 but from now on I will use version 2.3 in win7.
I also hope that the fix for sending a "0" via serial is also fixed in this version, as in this thread http://cq.cx/ladder-forum.pl?action=viewthread&parent=3532
Thanks for the very good support.

I'd forgotten about the '\0' change, but yes, (finally) also included in 2.3. Thanks, and let me know if you see any problems.

I dont know if it adds anything, but i used LDmicro 2.3 in my win8 laptop, when updated to win10 it crashed too. I dont know why but i had to run it as administrator and win8 compatibility mode and it worked. Now i downloaded the last version (2.3) it works normal again without opening it as ADM.
